Tarveen Kaur is an artist, educator, yoga instructor, and a homemaker who lives in Washington DC area, United States. Born and brought up in a Sikh family in Delhi, growing up Tarveen loved to draw and paint; and nurtured by her mother’s love for Gurbani, her interest in Gurbani flourished and grew. As a grown-up expressions and experiences of Sikhi through Art, Clothing, Design and Music intrigued her; which led her to pursue design education at NIFT, Delhi and later Masters in History and Culture from University of the Arts in London. She paints in a variety of mediums including watercolor, ink, oils in addition to digital art. She continues to explore her own inquisitiveness through her art and teaching practices.
